Tunisia's Communications Minister has said: "Those who have spoken of 40 or 50 dead should produce a list of names...Police never fired on protesters."
In the central town of Kasserine, locals alleged that "gunmen on rooftops shot at protesters."

Tunisia's Ahmed Bennour is a former Governor of Sousse (1972-1974) former Minister of Defence (1974-1977) former Minister of the Interior (1980-1984) and former Ambassador to Rome (1984-1986).
Allegedly he has worked for Mossad. (a possible accessory to Mossad's political assassinations )
