Last year Wolf Hall by Hilary Mantel won the coveted Man Booker Prize. What exactly is The Man Booker Prize? The prize aims to reward the best novel of the year. Books eligible for the Man Booker prize must be written in English, but not by an author from the USA. Any citizen from the Commonwealth or The Republic of Ireland is eligible.
