In the beginning of March, we told you about the BMW 7-Series tune being prepared by the Swiss arm of Mansory. Today, the company came out with all the juicy details including the available performance modifications for the Bavarian automaker’s flagship saloon.
Mansory treats both the 750i and 760iL with an engine kit that consists of an optimised ECU combined with a sports air filter and a custom exhaust system that includes a set of bespoke rectangular end pipes. With this package, the 4.4-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine of the 750i delivers 490HP and 720 Nm of peak torque, up from 407HP and 600Nm respectively.
The 760iL’s 6.0-liter twin-turbocharged V12 engine is bumped up from 544HP and 750Nm to 640HP and 920Nm [679 lb-ft]. According to Mansory, the 0-to-100km/h (62mph) acceleration is trimmed by 0.4 seconds to than 4.2 seconds.
Exterior mods include a body kit that features a new front bumper with additional openings and LED daytime running lights, a carbon radiator grill, roof and boot lid spoilers, and a rear apron housing a diffuser. The new 22-inch polished alloy wheels wrapped high-performance tires measuring 265/35 at the front axle and 295/30 at the back complete the look.
As for the interior, Mansory’s offerings include a re-designed sports steering wheel, carbon fiber or burl wood trim for the dashboard and door panels, bespoke leather treatments and custom floor mats.
