Goldberg points out that:
In 1945, Allen Dulles, in Operation Sunrise, brought hard core Nazis into the US intelligence apparatus.
Allen Dulles became the first chief of the CIA.
These same hard core Nazis would reach top positions the US intelligence community.
The non-fascists in the US intelligence community pointed out the weakness of the Soviet Union.
The fascists emphasised the threat from the Soviet Union, and this was good news for the military-industrial complex.

Dr. Lauretta Bender, practicing at Bellevue Hospital in New York City, experimented extensively on children.
Bender was linked to the CIA's MK/ULTRA and Artichoke projects.
Some of the doctors involved were Jewish.
Among these physicians were Drs. Harold A. Abramson, Paul Hoch, James B. Cattell and Max Fink.
Dr. Abramson was the physician Frank Olson was taken to see, shortly before his murder in New York City in November 1953.
Drs. Hoch and Cattell were responsible for injecting unwitting New York patient Harold Blauer with a massive dose of mescaline that killed him.
Dr. Fink is considered the godfather of electroshock therapy in the United States.
According to one CIA document, Fink told officials "an individual could gradually be reduced through the use to electroshock treatment to the vegetable level."
Dr. Bender's experiments came to be funded by a CIA front group.
The CIA's projects involved LSD, ESP, black magic, astrology, psychological warfare and media manipulation.
