REVOLT AGAINST THE FEUDAL SYSTEM?

China in the 1940s (multipletext.com/2009/9_china_1940s.htm) had a huge gap between rich and poor.

How do you explain the economic situation?

Parts of Detroit are like parts of Jakarta.

Here in Jakarta there is a large posh shopping mall.

But most of the visitors to the mall do not have the money to buy the goods on display.

For most people, whether in Detroit or in Jakarta, incomes are too low.

On 23 June 2010, in the Financial Times, Douglas Bruce explained that without some trickle-down effect, any recovery will be stillborn‎

Douglas Bruce explains that "over the past few decades, the top earners in banking and other sectors have been increasing their share of a finite cake...

"Going back a generation or two... it was still possible for a middle-class father to support a family of four, but it now takes two earners to maintain most families, and that at a lower standard of living..."

Poverty in India

On 23 June 2010, Li Onesto wrote about: "Dying Detroit" - The Impacts of Globalization. Social Decay and Destruction of an Entire Urban Area

In Detroit:

Almost half of the children live in poverty.

The illiteracy rate is close to 50%.

Michigan state spends more on prisons than it does on higher education.

Many of Detroit's jobs have moved abroad, to where the wages are even lower.

India has palaces and paupers.

On 24 June 2010, at Global Research, Andrew Gavin Marshall wrote about: The Global Political Awakening and the New World Order

He points out:

1.2 billion people in the world live on less than $1 per day.

Nearly 3 billion people live on less than $2 a day.

The richest 2% of adults in the world own more than half of global household wealth.

The richest 1% of adults own around 40% of global assets.

The richest 10% of adults own around for 85% of the global assets.

The bottom half of the world adult population own around 1% of global wealth.

The top 6,000 people in the world own 40% of the world’s assets.

The top 600,000 people in the world control 85% of the world’s wealth.

The bottom 3.4 billion own 1% of world wealth.

Zbigniew Brzezinski explains that increased literacy means greater political awareness, increased use of TV means greater awareness of global disparities, and greater use of the Internet means more instant communications.

Brzezinski sees an increase in anti-Americanism and anti-globalization.

"From the point of view of the global oligarchy, the only method of imposing order and control ...is through the organized chaos of economic crises, war, and the rapid expansion and institutionalization of a global scientific dictatorship."

A London mansion worth over £100 million.

In the USA, roughly 40% of the population fall below the poverty line at some point within a 10 year time span. (Poverty in the United States - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia)

Israel has many millionaires and many hungry children.

"Once idealized as a socialist paradise, the Jewish state is increasingly becoming a country of two classes...

"35% of children are living in poverty, leaving Israel with this unhappy distinction: It ranks among Western countries with the greatest percentage of poor children, according to the Insurance Institute." (Poverty in Israel: The divide deepens between the haves and have .../ Israel will join OECD as its poorest member )

In 2006 it was reported that in the Calton area of Glasgow the average life expectancy of a male is just 53.9 years.

This is lower than in Bangladesh or North Korea or Iraq. (In Iraq, life expectancy is 67. Minutes from Glasgow city centre ...)

In January 2010, a report by the UK government's National Equality Panel pointed out that the gulf between rich and poor in the UK grew wider under Tony Blair's Labour Party than at any time since the Second World War.

In the UK, the richest 10 per cent of families have assets worth an average £853,000 - almost 100 times the £8,800 average wealth of the poorest 10 per cent. (Gulf between rich and poor grown under Labour and now widest since WWII - Daily Mail )

Our leaders would appear to be in favour of a feudal system where the upper class become very rich and the lower class become very poor.

Joe Stiglitz, formerly chief economist at the World Bank, told CNBC that "Market fundamentalism has eroded any sense of community and has led to rampant exploitation." (Stiglitz: America's Ersatz Capitalism Is A Joke )

The rich-poor gap has a lot to do with rotten leaders. (afrogeekchic.wordpress.com/.../)

According to the economists Howell and Diallo (2007), neoliberal policies have contributed to a US economy in which 30% of workers earn "low wages", and 35% of the labour force is "underemployed". (Neoliberalism - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia)

According to John Schmitt and Ben Zipperer (2006), "The U.S. economic and social model is associated with substantial levels of social exclusion, including high levels of income inequality, high relative and absolute poverty rates, poor and unequal educational outcomes, poor health outcomes, and high rates of crime and incarceration." (Neoliberalism - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia)

Jews helped run the Moslem Ottoman Empire.

Who has gained from the policies of our rotten leaders?

"Jews played a central role in American finance during the 1980s, and they were among the chief beneficiaries of that decade's corporate mergers and reorganizations.

"Today, though barely 2% of the nation's population is Jewish, close to half its billionaires are Jews." (NEOCON FINANCIERS / BANKERS)

The use by feudal rulers of Jewish financiers has a long history.

In the Middle Ages in Europe, many kings depended upon Jews as financiers.

Royal power worked alongside Jewish money. (NEOCON FINANCIERS / BANKERS )

"1922: King Abdulla Ibn Hussein of Transjordan sits under the watchful eyes of his Jewish bodyguards, Habanni Yemenite brothers Sayeed, Salaah, and Saadia Sofer." (mochajuden.com/?tag=ruth)

Jews also played a major role in the medieval Muslim world.

Jews played a major role in the running of the Ottoman Empire. (NEOCON FINANCIERS / BANKERS)

"In late 19th-century Britain, the Jewish-dominated press championed imperialism, which benefited Jewish finance.

"And during the early stages of the Soviet regime, Jews were numerous in leadership positions, especially in the secret police...

"It was with Franklin Roosevelt's New Deal that Jews gained long-term power in the United States...

(Benjamin Ginsberg's The Fatal Embrace: Jews and the State. NEOCON FINANCIERS / BANKERS )

Some people believe that Masonic Jewish bankers pull the strings.

In his book, "Under the Sign of the Scorpion" (2002), the Estonian Juri Lina says about 150 million people died as a result of the Bolshevik Revolution, subsidized by the Masonic Jewish banking cartel. "The West pretended to oppose the Bolsheviks but in fact defended them." (savethemales.ca - USSR - Experiment Was "Social ...)

Jewish folks have been important in Latin America.

Around 300,000 Jews live in Argentina, mostly in Buenos Aires. (Argentine Jews Struggling with Money Problems and Security Fears)

In 2001, the economy of Argentina collapsed due to neo-liberal policies.

The feudal system, with its gap between rich and poor, is not unique to any one country or any one religion.

India has many millionaires.

But in 2006 it was reported that 35% of Indians live on less than $1 a day, which is much worse than Pakistan’s figure of 17%. (India - Rich and Poor)

Louis XVI

Is the situation today to be compared to that in France in 1789?

Norman Gash, at the National Review, 14 July 1989, wrote: Reflections on the revolution - French Revolution

(Norman Gash was a former Professor of Modern History at the University of St Andrews)

1. According to Norman Gash, in 1789 France was the largest, wealthiest, and most powerful state in Western Europe.

In 2010, the USA is said to be the most powerful state in the world.

2. Norman Gash asks: What reason was there for revolution in France in 1789?

Gash relates that, according to Napoleon, there was revolution because the middle class wanted more power for themselves and less power for the aristocrats.

It could be argued that, in the USA, the middle classes are getting restless. They see a corrupt elite enjoying too many privileges.

Louis XVI

3. Gash points out that in France, in 1789, "the climate of opinion was rational, liberal, and optimistic, the monarchy not averse to reform, the aristocracy itself permeated by ideas of the Enlightenment."

Why then was there a bloody revolution?

Gash explains that the 'system' appeared to make reform difficult.

Edmund Burke said that "a state without the means of some change is without the means of its own conservation."

In the USA in 2010, the constitution appears not to be protecting the USA from disaster.

America's institutions seem incapable of preventing wars, discontent and hunger.

Bastille

4. Gash points out that the French revolution was a long sequence of events, stretching from 1789 until 1799.

There was "an extraordinary series of political improvisations:

constitutional monarchy,

republicanism,

single-party rule,

dictatorship of the proletariat,

oligarchy,

and finally military despotism."

If there are to be dramatic changes in the USA, the end result might be military despotism under an American Napoleon.

Napoleon was a fascist.

He attempted the total military domination of continental Europe.

He tried to have a New World Order, or as Gash writes "a new international order".

Napoleon

5. According to Gash, the French Revolution, Napoleon's Empire and the 1815 Congress of Vienna "foreshadowed the Europe of the future."

That means both good things and bad things.

Americans seeking revolution should study Europe's history.

6. Gash implies that bloody revolution was not necessary to bring about change in Europe.

Gash writes:

Even if the French Revolution had not taken place, "common sense suggests that the main lines of European evolution would have been much the same, though perhaps the pace might have been slower."

Gash lists the products of European society which would have come about either by gradual evolution or by fast and bloody revolution:

A. Liberalism based on representative institutions.

B. Nationalism based on linguistic unity.

C. The rise of the sovereign state.

D. The centralization of administrative power at the expense of provincial.

E. The increasing responsibility of government for the welfare of its subjects.

F. The ability to mobilize a whole society for war.

G. military defeats in consequence giving rise to revolution and revolution to tyranny.

H. International conflicts followed by international institutions to preserve harmony.

America is changing.

The changes will be a mixture of good and bad.

The changes will happen, even without a revolution.

French Empire 1811

7. According to Gash, the French Revolution helped to shape European society in two notable ways.

A. Force was used to bring about change. "Liberalism and reform marched behind French bayonets."

The ideas of liberalism and reform had many of their origins in England.

B. The awakening of nationalism.

Gash writes that: "ideas that march behind bayonets are rarely popular; reform at the hands of a conqueror earns little gratitude. French rule brought not only enlightenment but hardship."

It was not long before there were nationalistic revolts against the French.

In Germany, later in the century, "Bismarck exploited the German national feeling first evoked by Napoleon I."

Any attempt by an American dictator to bring about a New World Order would result in nationalist revolts.

US CHOOSES INFLATION, FAST DECLINE & NWO?

Zimbabwe. (Website for this image)

At the UK's Financial Times, James Mackintosh has explained that the USA's wealthy elite got good news on 7 December 2010. (The Short View - Good news comes in threes)

On that day it was announced that the tax cuts for the super-rich would continue.

The US has "abandoned any pretence" that it is trying to balance the books.

Inflation is likely to rise.

"The total cost of the tax cuts will be $1,000bn over two years."

"A coalition of transnational corporations, multilateral forces like NATO, and an international financial elite could conceivably forge a single, possibly unstable, supra-national nexus that would make it no longer meaningful to speak of national empires at all." - Professor Alfred McCoy (Four ways the doomed American empire could collapse) - see below

According to Li Daokui, an academic member of China's central bank monetary policy committee:

"The fiscal (government spending) situation in the United States is much worse than in Europe.

"In one or two years... US Treasury bonds and the dollar will experience considerable declines." (US fiscal health is worse than Europe's: according to a Chinese central bank adviser)

Detroit - Website for this image

America's decline could be seen to have started when the military-industrial-narco complex embarked on the Vietnam War or the Iraq War.

Alfred W. McCoy is professor of history at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

On 5 December, at alternet.org, Professor McCoy wrote about Four ways the doomed American empire could collapse

Among the points made:

1. The US Empire could collapse within 15 years.

The following empires, after things started to go badly wrong, ended as follows:

Portugal within one year.

Soviet Russia within two years.

The UK within 17 years.

The invasion of Iraq in 2003 may be the start of America's downfall.

2. China may be top nation some time after 2020.

By 2020, "China's global network of communications satellites, backed by the world's most powerful supercomputers, will also be fully operational, providing Beijing with an independent platform for the weaponization of space and a powerful communications system for missile- or cyber-strikes into every quadrant of the globe."

3. Historian Paul Kennedy prophecied that the USA was going to fail as a result of losing control of its economy and becoming overextended.

4. American jobs have been heading overseas.

5. Australia and Turkey are using their American weapons for joint air and naval maneuvers with China.

6. By 2008, the US had already fallen to number three in global merchandise exports, behind the European Union and China.

7. American leadership in technological innovation is on the decline.

The World Economic Forum ranked the United States 52nd in the quality of its university math and science instruction in 2010.

8. The dollar may cease to be the world’s reserve currency.

Big US deficits have been caused partly by continual wars.

9. The US may be forced to pull U.S. forces back from hundreds of overseas bases.

10. Russia and Iran control much of the world's gas and oil.

The US has done too little to develop alternative sources.

11. A New World Order?

"A coalition of transnational corporations, multilateral forces like NATO, and an international financial elite could conceivably forge a single, possibly unstable, supra-national nexus that would make it no longer meaningful to speak of national empires at all.

"While denationalized corporations and multinational elites would assumedly rule such a world from secure urban enclaves, the multitudes would be relegated to urban and rural wastelands."

12. Reform?

"The American system is flooded with corporate money meant to jam up the works; and there is little suggestion that any issues of significance, including our wars, our bloated national security state, our starved education system, and our antiquated energy supplies, will be addressed with sufficient seriousness to assure the sort of soft landing that might maximize our country's role and prosperity in a changing world."

WHAT WE HAVE IS NOT CAPITALISM

J P Morgan

JPMorgan Chase is now the world's largest company. (The World's Leading Companies - Forbes.com)

A certain Mexican is now worth $53 billion.

Meanwhile, child poverty in Sweden has increased by almost 50 percent since 2006.

(Increasing number of children in Sweden live in poverty)

The top 600,000 people in the world control 85% of the world’s wealth. (The Global Political Awakening and the New World Order)

The economy is in trouble.

And the best way to help the economy is to greatly increase the minimum wage, worldwide.

And help small businesses; not greedy global corporations.

Poor children in Scandinavia, not helping the shoe trade.

Let's look back a little in time.

A minor oligarch called Robert Owen took over some textile mills at a place called New Lanark in Scotland.

At that time, in the early 19th century, children from as young as five were working for thirteen hours a day in the mills.

Robert Owen brought about reforms, such as halting the employment of young children.

His mills prospered. (Robert Owen : Biography)

London strike

On 14 August 1889, in the UK, the Great London Dock strike began.

The Dockers demanded a minimum wage of 6 pence an hour.

The strike was a success.

Dockers could afford to buy more in the shops.

Some of the money raised in tax went towards the military-industrial complex.

In 1909, the UK government increased taxes on the super-rich. (The 'People's Budget': Causes & Consequences)

"Income tax was raised to one shilling on incomes above £2,000; those earning over £5,000 would pay an additional super tax at six pence in the pound on income above £3,000.

"Only 25,000 people earned above £3,000 and those liable for super tax numbered around 10,000."

Some of the money raised from tax was diverted towards buying the weapons of war used in the 1914-18 conflict.

But, gradually in the UK there was a narrowing of the gap between the rich and the poor.

However, the 'bad guys' then began to infiltrate the reform movements.

Today, most trade unions seem to have been infiltrated.

And there are few oligarchs who take an interest in their workers' welfare.

On 23 June 2010, we learn that in Detroit, almost half of all children live in poverty. ("Dying Detroit" - The Impacts of Globalization. Social Decay and Destruction of an Entire Urban Area)

In India, "57 per cent of GDP is being 'consumed' by about one per cent of the total population." (India is prospering but not Indians: Aiyar)

Mumbai

In the UK, the proportion of poor children in working households rose to 61% in 2008-9.

In the UK, in the top 100 companies, the average chief executive is paid more than £4m a year.(Low pay keeps even more in poverty.)

In 1960 the average income of the top 20% of the world's population was 30 times that of the bottom 20%.

By 1997, it was 74 times.

Today the assets of the top three billionaires are more than the combined GNP of all least developed countries and their 600 million people. (Debt Dynamite Dominoes: The Coming Financial Catastrophe)

At http://theeconomiccollapseblog.com/, we read about:

20 Statistics That Prove That Global Wealth Is Being Funneled Into The Hands Of The Elite – Leaving Most Of The Rest Of The World Wretchedly Poor

From this we learn:

"Over the past several decades an increasingly growing percentage of agricultural land has been gobbled up by big corporations and by corrupt governments.

"Hundreds of millions of people have been pushed off their land."

Global corporations dominate much of the world economy.

1 According to the UN Conference on Trade and Development, the number of "least developed countries" has doubled over the past 40 years.

2 "Least developed countries" spent 9 billion dollars on food imports in 2002. By 2008, that number had risen to 23 billion dollars.

3. Average income per person in the poorest countries on the continent of Africa has fallen by one-fourth over the past twenty years.

4. Bill Gates has a net worth of somewhere in the neighborhood of 50 billion dollars. That means that there are approximately 140 different nations that have a yearly GDP which is smaller than the amount of money Bill Gates has.

5. A study by the World Institute for Development Economics Research discovered that the bottom half of the world population owns approximately 1 percent of all global wealth.

India

6. Approximately 1 billion people throughout the world go to bed hungry each night.

7. The wealthiest 2 percent own more than half of all global household assets.

8. It is estimated that over 80 percent of the world's population lives in countries where the income gap between the rich and the poor is widening.

9. Every 3.6 seconds someone starves to death and three-quarters of them are children under the age of 5.

10. According to Gallup, 33 percent of the people on the globe say that they do not have enough money for food.

A distraction.

11. As you read this, there are 2.6 billion people around the world that lack basic sanitation.

12. According to the most recent "Global Wealth Report" by Credit Suisse, the wealthiest 0.5% control over 35% of the wealth of the world.

13. More than 3 billion people, close to half the world's population, live on less than 2 dollar a day.

14. CNN founder Ted Turner is the largest private landowner in the United States. Today, Turner owns approximately two million acres. That is an amount greater than the land masses of the states of Delaware and Rhode Island combined. Turner also advocates restricting U.S. couples to 2 or fewer children to control population growth.

15. There are 400 million children in the world today that have no access to safe water.

16. Approximately 28 percent of all children in developing countries are considered to be underweight or have had their growth stunted as a result of malnutrition.

17. It is estimated that the United States owns approximately 25 percent of the total wealth of the world.

18. It is estimated that the entire continent of Africa owns approximately 1 percent of the total wealth of the world.

19. In 2008, approximately 9 million children died before they reached their fifth birthdays. Approximately a third of all of these deaths was due either directly or indirectly to lack of food.

20. The most famous banking family in the world, the Rothschilds, has accumulated mountains of wealth while much of the rest of the world has been trapped in poverty. The following is what Wikipedia has to say about Rothschild family wealth....

It has been argued that during the 19th century, the family possessed by far the largest private fortune in the world, and by far the largest fortune in modern history.

Nobody seems to know exactly how much the Rothschilds are worth today. They dominate the banking establishments of England, France, Germany, Austria, Switzerland and many other nations. It was estimated that they were worth billions back in the mid-1800s. What the total wealth of the family is today is surely an amount that is almost unimaginable, but nobody knows for sure.

"What we have in the world today is not capitalism.

"Rather, it more closely resembles 'feudalism' than anything else...

"It would be great if we lived in a world where those living in poverty were encouraged to start owning land, to create businesses and to build better lives for themselves...

"It turns out that the global elite have decided that they don't really need so many expensive American 'worker bees' after all and they have been moving thousands of factories and millions of jobs overseas.

"Meanwhile the American people are so distracted watching Dancing with the Stars, Lady Gaga and their favorite sports teams that they don't even realize what is going on."

USA VERSUS INDIA?

India has more mobile phones than toilets.

M. K. Narayanan was India's chief spook.

He like the USA and he likes George W Bush. (Seven days in south Asia)

According to Narayanan, Bush was good because he pushed through a nuclear co-operation deal with India, thus strengthening India against China.

Narayanan worries about China, which is influential in Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Burma. (Seven days in south Asia)

Mumbai

The USA is keen to prevent India from teaming up with China or Russia or Iran. (CHINDIA: INDIA ALLIED TO CHINA?)

But, does the real threat to the USA come from somewhere else?

On 4 November 2010, Schumpeter, in The Economist, wrote about the threat from India.

According to Schumpter:

India is growing at about 8% a year and now has big global companies that compete directly with American ones.

For example: Arcelor Mittal and Tata Steel in steelmaking; Bharat Forge and Sundram Fasteners in car parts; Hindalco in aluminium rolling; Infosys, Tata Consulting Services (TCS), Cognizant and HCL Technologies, in information services.

Indian companies, such as Reliance Industries and Pirmal Healthcare, have been buying up American brands.

(In Britain, the largest manufacturing employer is now India's Tata, which owns Land Rover and Jaguar. (Hamish McRae…))

Many American companies have moved to India.

For example, Cisco and General Electric are in Bangalore.

IBM now employs more people in India than in the United States.

Indian-based companies are now involved in: reading CT-scans and X-rays, processing legal documents, animation, and even consulting.

The Boston Consulting Group's 2010 survey of innovation relates that the number of American companies on its list of top innovators is declining while the number of Indian companies is rising.

Tata Motors is selling its 'people's car' for $3,000; Bharat Biotech sells a single dose of its hepatitis B vaccine for 20 cents and Bharti Airtel provides one of the cheapest wireless telephone services in the world.

50% of Silicon Valley’s start-ups were either founded or co-founded by Indians.

But, these brainy Indians, with their PhDs, are now returning 'en masse' to India.

Reportedly, the CIA wants to break up India.

Terror attacks in India have been linked to 'fascist' Hindu groups, and others, reportedly doing the work of the CIA and Mossad.

In February of 2000, Indian intelligence officials detained 11 members of what they thought was an Al Qaeda hijacking conspiracy.

It was then discovered that these 11 'Muslim preachers' were all Israeli nationals ... India's leading weekly magazine, The Week, reported ( Aborted Mission Investigation: Did Mossad attempt to infiltrate ... ):

Map of a broken up india

On 28 March 2010, The Milli Gazette had an article by historian Amaresh Misra entitled "Headley Saga: Mumbai attack was a joint IB-CIA-Mossad-RSS project"

The IB (Intelligence Bureau) is an Indian government spy agency, said to have been infiltrated by the CIA and Mossad.

The RSS is a 'fascist' Hindu organisation, said to be allied to the CIA and Mossad.

It should be noted that K S Sudarshan, former leader of the RSS, says that Sonia Gandhi of the Congress party works for the CIA. (Congress seeks apology from former RSS chief for remark "Sonia, a CIA agent" / SONIA GANDHI AND MANMOHAN SINGH OF THE CIA?)

According to Mishra:

1. In India's 2009 Parliamentary elections, India's English media expected Lal Krishna Advani to become India's next Prime Minister.

(Advani belongs to the BJP party which is a 'fascist' Hindu party said to be allied to Mossad and the CIA.)

However, the Congress Party won the election (SONIA GANDHI AND MANMOHAN SINGH OF THE CIA?).

2. The CIA is now being blamed for the Mumbai Attacks of 26/11/08.

But, the English media is trying to make out that Mumbai Attacks planner David Headley was not working for the CIA.

3. In 2008, the government of India set up the NIA, the National Investigative Agency.

It is the NIA which has been uncovering evidence about Headley.

India's IB domestic security service could no longer be trusted.

Mumbai girls

4. The SIM cards used by the ten 26/11 'terrorists' were purchased by someone working for the IB.

When lawyer Shahid Azmi discovered that those accused of the 2006 Mumbai train blasts were innocent, the IB allegedly had Shahid Azmi murdered.

It is possible that the IB is heavily infiltrated by CIA and Mossad.

5. 'Fascist' Hindu groups are widely believed to be behind the Pune blasts.

6. Rakesh Maria is the police chief responsible for investigating the Mumbai attacks of 2008.

He is said to have pro-Israeli links.

~~

Who paid David Headley's credit card bills? (Who paid David Coleman Headley's credit card bill?)

The Bills were paid in the USA and Canada.
